Manchester Airport Manchester M90 1QX
In 2019, before the world’s timeline skipped two years for reasons that no one knows and no one can explain (shush), Manchester Airport welcomed nearly 30 million passengers.
That’s a lot of passports, boarding passes, and neck pillows. It also adds up to a huge number of vehicles, all of which need somewhere to park.
The two main parking options at Manchester Airport are Official and Unofficial, each with a variety of options.
Official parking options have all been provided by the airport. They are often the closest, as well as the most expensive.
With Manchester Airport Drop and Go all you need to do is turn up, drop off your keys and go on your merry way. Drop & Go is located just a five minute walk from T3 and is within a short shuttle ride to T1 & T2.
Meet and Greet services include a valet service. Just drop your car off, leave your keys, and then head to the terminal. They will drive your car to a secure location and then keep it until you return. At that point, you simply need to arrange for a collection.
It’s one of the most expensive options, but it’s convenient and it’s probably the quickest way to travel.
Official Long Stay parking at Manchester Airport is one of the cheapest options. The car park is not within walking distance of the airport, but it is served by regular buses that take you to the terminal free of charge. There is a car park serving terminals 1 and 3 and another one serving terminal 2.
Short Stay parking at Manchester Airport is handled by the multi-storey car park. These are large, clean, and neatly arranged, with handy colour codes to help you find your way around.
It will get you to the terminal quickly and it’s ideal if you’re only going away for a few days.
You don’t need to park with an official provider to keep your car safe and secure. Also, if you're looking for cheap car parking Manchester Airport, it's more than likely that the lowest prices will be from the unofficial providers.
A secured parking option that’s surprisingly close to the airport, albeit not as close as the official options. There is a free transfer bus that takes just 7 minutes or so to get to the terminal.
There are park & ride (self-park) options where you find your own space and valet options where they do the work for you. In both cases, you’ll need to take your luggage on the shuttle bus and then ride to the airport terminal.
Manchester Airport JetParks is a great choice for low-cost and hassle-free parking. Make your booking online and then just head to the airport and look for your chosen car park.
The barrier will recognise your number plate and open, at which point you just need to find a spare parking space. After parking and unloading, look for one of the bus stops and then wait for the shuttle bus. You shouldn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes.
The shuttle bus takes between 5 and 12 minutes to arrive at the airport terminal.
When you return, you’ll need to look for the JetParks stop, and then wait for the bus to take you back to the car park.
JetParks Ringway operates the same as the services mentioned above. It’s a self-park option that you purchase online. The barrier will recognise your plates and you must find your own space before taking a shuttle to your respective terminal.
It takes just 4 minutes to get to terminal 3 and twice as long for terminal 1. If you’re heading to terminal 2, you can expect a travel time of around 13 minutes.
For unofficial electric vehicle parking, check out APH Park & Ride with EV Charging. There are 4 bays available, with options for 30kW and 60kW both offered.
