Birmingham Airport Airport Way Birmingham B26 3QJ
Short Stay parking is available at Birmingham Airport and is ideal for those making a short trip, i.e., a 24-hour business trip or a weekend getaway. If you’re planning on leaving your car for longer periods, it will be worth looking at other more cost-effective options.
Official Short Stay options at Birmingham Airport are referred to as Car Parks 1, 2, and 3, all of which are within a 1-minute walk of the terminal. They offer excellent convenience, but you do pay a premium for this and Short Stay options are more expensive than Long Stay ones.
Although it’s not the cheapest option, valet parking is one of the most convenient if you want easy access to the terminal.
Simply head for the Valet Parking Car Park next to Car Park 3, collect your bags from your car, and then drop off your keys. A valet will securely park your car. It will be monitored in the car park and will be waiting for you when you return.
It’s especially handy if you’re worried that you’ll be stuck driving around for 20 minutes looking for a car parking space. You can leave the stressing to the valet—at least they don’t have a plane to catch.
Driving on two wheels instead of four? Just head for Car Park 2 and look for the sheltered area designated for motorcycles. Refrain from parking your bike in a standard parking bay, as you’ll be charged the full rate.
There are no anchor points in the car park.
Officially known as Car Parks 4, 5, and 7, these options are perfect for those who are going to be leaving their vehicles for an extended period of time and don’t mind a slightly longer walk to the terminal.
Whilst it’s possible to turn up without a reservation to any of these official car parks, we strongly recommend you book in advance to get the best rates.
Car Parks 4 and 5 are just a 10-minute walk away from the terminal.
Car Park 7 is a 10-minute shuttle bus journey to the terminal and buses operate 24 hours a day.

This is one of the major unofficial parking operators at Birmingham Airport. Airparks offer off-airport (outside the perimeter of the airport) parking options as detailed below.
Airparks Birmingham is located 4 miles from the terminal. It’s fairly close, but we still recommend that you allow for around 1-hour transfer time to account for any unexpected delays.
Bus transfers to the terminal are available every 25 minutes but must be requested between the hours of midnight and 3 am. If you’re carrying exceptionally large items, such as bikes or skis, you will not be allowed to board the shuttle bus. You’ll have to drop these items off at the terminal with another passenger from your party before arriving at your Airparks car park.

APH Birmingham Self Park is a highly regarded, unofficial, off-site parking provider.
The car park is located a 15-minute drive (or shuttle bus journey) from the airport terminal, but we suggest you allow one hour if you’re going to be arriving in peak traffic! Birmingham is notoriously bad for traffic.
The APH shuttle bus is available on demand, 24 hours a day.
